Staff Accountant

Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by using analytical and preparation of data for them to use to make decisions. You will participate in the month end closing process, costing, reporting and analysis all while keeping the SOX control framework in mind. . The team you will be working with is collaborative and innovative, and values challenging work and diversity of thought. So, what will you be doing as a Staff Accountant?Prepare and enter journal entries to ensure all revenues and expenses are properly recordedAssist in the preparation of all monthly financial reports, including P&Ls and departmental actual vs. forecast statementsComplete costing of inventoryComplete month/quarterly analysis and schedulesGather forecasting data and supplemental informationMaintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controlsSupport internal and external auditsProvide support to U.S. Spring & WireSpecial projects as requestedTo be successful in this role, you’ll need:BS in AccountingAccounting/GAAP knowledge.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.1-3 years Accounting experienceThings we consider a plus:Dynamics 365 experiencedWhat to Do NextNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
