TO: All Production Associates FROM: Associate Services SUBJECT: Req#3737 SHIFT: 1st POSITION : Technical Coordinator SUMMARY: Develops ways to increase productivity, maximize efficiency, and manage human capital and floor space more effectively. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design layout of equipment and workspace.
- Utilizes sound management principles and Lean concepts with the intent of improving process flows, reducing operational expenses, and improving productivity.
- Analyze and challenge existing procedures in areas of responsibility throughout the facilities, making recommendations, and working with the operations management teams to integrate solutions.
- Provides guidance and support to operational management by identifying progress opportunities, supporting the company's themes, and helping to manage the annual business plan.
- Develops implements and improves processes, equipment and work activities, to meet and exceed the company's safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

- Expansion needs analysis
- Material flow analysis
- Developing and maintaining engineered time standards
- Value stream mapping
- Process flow and line balancing
- 4-year degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Project management experience
- M.O.S.T. and/or Time Study work measurement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to set and achieve goals with minimum supervision
- Demonstrated solid teamwork, interpersonal and planning skills
- Proficient in MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- AutoCAD and Simulation software a plus
