Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students (grades 3-5) in a special education setting
• Proficiency with inclusion and/or adaptive education models
• Comfortable supporting a small caseload while differentiating instruction
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for a group of ten students
• Deliver instruction in an inclusion or adaptive classroom environment based on student needs
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
• Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for students with varying abilities
• Collaborate with instructional teams to adapt curriculum and classroom activities for optimal student success
• Communicate effectively with parents and related service providers
