Morrison has been serving some of the nation's largest health systems for more than 70 years, and it leverages culinary, nutritional, and operational expertise to provide consistency and transform the healthcare experience.Primary responsibilities of the Regional Finance Manager will include oversight of all accounting and financial activity within the region including monthly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. Additionally, the Regional Finance Manager will be responsible for monitoring internal control and providing training and development for region leaders and operations teams.Job Responsibilities:Manages the preparation of monthly analysis of revenue, cost of goods sold, labor and operational expenses against prior year and budget, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate any costs or risks at the unit.Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.Identify issues with billing, collections and financial processing within the unit and propose mediation.Validate dashboard data and ensure accuracy of data in comparison to general ledger.Support month end closing process and perform variance analysis of key drivers of results including unallocated food costs and payroll metrics.Perform analytics and establish benchmarks for key drivers of existing business.Support budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.Ensure training and development related to financials of all region leaders and operations team members.Assists with new business methodology and proposal preparation.Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
