Title
Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical - Trauma

Schedule
Guaranteed hours: Yes
Weekly options: Can sign for 36 or 48 hours/week
Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years RN experience
- Required: Trauma Level I & II experience
- Required certifications: BLS (BCLS), ACLS
- Pending license accepted
- Must pass Relias EKG exam; interpretation/management of dysrhythmias required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with traumatic injuries and medical-surgical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using an electronic medical record system.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health management and post-acute care.
