Senior Tax Accountant | $70 k-$90 k |  Great Benefits | Omaha, NE

If you have a few years of public accounting experience and are ready for more autonomy, this role offers the opportunity to manage client engagements, review staff work, and expand your client-facing responsibilities. You’ll work closely with managers and partners while building the experience needed to advance into a future leadership role.

What You’ll Do :

• Own a diverse portfolio of client relationships, delivering high-quality tax, accounting, and advisory services from planning through completion
• Serve as a trusted resource for clients by providing timely guidance and helping solve complex accounting and tax challenges
• Review and coach the work of junior team members while helping develop the next generation of accounting professionals
• Partner with managers and firm leadership on planning initiatives, special projects, and opportunities to improve client outcomes
• Expand your technical expertise while building the leadership skills needed to advance into future management opportunities

Qualifications & Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• Ability to independently prepare complex individual, business, and partnership tax returns
• Active CPA or willingness to pursue CPA licensure with eligibility or a clear plan to sit for the exam
• Experience with CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx Tax, GAAP, or staff review responsibilities is preferred
