Job Description
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking qualified LPNs and RNs for full-time school-based nursing opportunities in the Tampa, Florida area for the 2026-2027 school year. These positions offer the opportunity to support student health and wellness while working within a collaborative educational environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing services to students in a school setting
- Manage daily health room activities and student health needs
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
- Respond to student health concerns and emergencies as needed
- Float between school sites if necessary
Qualifications
- Active Florida LPN or RN License required
- Current CPR Certification required
- RNs must hold a BSN
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
Position Details

- 36.5 Hours Per Week
- 2026-2027 School Year
- August 2026 through May 2027
- Onsite Position
- School Health Room Setting
- Opportunity to float between sites as needed
- Hiring process may not require a formal interview
