Assistant General Counsel – Provide Strategic Legal GuidanceSunrise is seeking a strategic, business-minded Assistant General Counsel (Transactional) to support our Real Estate, Development, and Asset Management teams. What You'll Do:Provide legal counsel on real estate transactions and development projectsDraft and negotiate purchase agreements, LOIs, financings, and management contractsSupport joint ventures, asset acquisitions, and portfolio transactionsOversee title and survey diligence processesAdvise senior leaders on corporate, contract, and compliance mattersPartner with cross-functional teams to align legal strategy with business goalsEnsure compliance with applicable laws and internal policiesYou will play a key role in structuring and negotiating complex transactions that drive Sunrise's growth and portfolio performance.What We're Looking For:6–7 years legal experience in corporate, real estate, or finance lawBackground in transactional and development work preferredActive bar license in good standingStrong negotiation, analytical, and drafting skillsSound legal and business judgmentAbility to influence stakeholders across all levelsSenior living or hospitality industry experience preferredPay Range: 187,680.00 - 234,600.00Ready to take the next step and make a bigger impact than you ever imagined?
