The facility features a dynamic Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team supported by a strong multidisciplinary clinical environment, Epic EMR infrastructure, and a commitment to quality, safety, and professional development.

Opportunity:
Physician Assistant (PA) – Surgery – Trauma

Job Details:

• Full-time Nocturnist role providing advanced overnight trauma and acute care surgical services
• Manage trauma admissions, emergency general surgery cases, and inpatient care
• Perform patient evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, resuscitation, and operative support
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary clinical team
• Maintain all documentation and clinical workflows utilizing Epic EMR
• Practice autonomously while managing multiple complex tasks appropriately
• Support quality, safety, and performance metrics of the Trauma Surgery service
• Engage in professional development and potential leadership opportunities
• Minimum of two (2) years of trauma surgery experience required; completion of a surgical fellowship highly preferred
• Must be a graduate of an accredited PA program with a Master's degree in PA Studies
• NCCPA Certification required with no exceptions
• Must hold an unrestricted Colorado Physician Assistant license
• BLS certification required with no exemptions
• Must be eligible for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider status
• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
• Must have no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
• Visa sponsorship not available; J-1 and H-1B visas not accepted
