The best run DevOps teams in the world choose Perforce. Position Summary Our Sales Engineering leader at Perforce is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to join the Delphix team. We are looking for an individual who has the ability to partner with US‑Northwest (WA/OR) Delphix Sales Executives to provide customers with technical information to help them make the decision to purchase the Delphix platform. This position would help a company highlight the abilities Delphix has in securing sensitive data as well as virtualizing data and providing the ability for testing teams, developers and analysts the ability to rewind or refresh their own copies of data or refresh that data in minutes. This position provides many opportunities to work with customers showcasing the Delphix platform. Delphix eliminates data bottlenecks so enterprises can speed up innovation, reduce risk, and cut costs. It enables faster releases, AI transformation, and seamless compliance with privacy regulations. What makes Delphix unique? Responsibilities Day to day responsibilities include presenting and demonstrating details about the Delphix platform including adapting the demonstration based on the customer’s needs, providing information and documentation to customers to help them understand details of the platform, and to help customers understand the ROI. Additionally, the sales engineer will help to complete requests for information. Build and sustain customer relationships throughout the sales process. Serve as the technical lead in pre‑sales engagements, from discovery through technical close. Conduct technical deep dives and answer in‑depth product/architecture questions. Scope, manage, and conduct workshops or proof‑of‑value engagements to prove the value of the Delphix Solution. Ability to convey the business value to the customer in an articulate manner. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or a computer technology related degree. 3‑5 years experience in a technology presales role. Preferred experience in software presales. 2‑5 years experience in test data management, building development or test systems, or experience as a developer, test engineer or data management. Experience in data management, database administration, software development or testing. AI Fluency - Level 2: Skilled Prompter (Advanced Foundation / Early Proficient) – Crafts effective, outcome‑oriented prompts, iterates to improve quality and speed, and validates AI outputs against business context and expectations. Compensation & Benefits Compensation range: $115,500 - $165,000 per year. The base pay range targeted for this role is $110,000 - $115,500 USD. This position is eligible for the Sales Engineering Commission Plan.
