Sales Engineer - Delphix (US-Northwest Region)

Our Sales Engineering leader at Perforce is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to join the Delphix team. We are looking for an individual who has the ability to partner with US‑Northwest (WA/OR) Delphix Sales Executives to provide customers with technical information to help them make the decision to purchase the Delphix platform. This position would help a company highlight the abilities Delphix has in securing sensitive data as well as virtualizing data and providing the ability for testing teams, developers and analysts to rewind or refresh their own copies of data or refresh that data in minutes. This position provides many opportunities to work with customers showcasing the Delphix platform. Responsibilities Present and demonstrate details about the Delphix platform, adapting demonstrations based on the customers’ needs, and provide information and documentation to help customers understand the platform and its ROI. Build and sustain customer relationships throughout the sales process. Serve as the technical lead in pre‑sales engagements, from discovery through technical close. Conduct technical deep dives and answer in‑depth product/architecture questions. Scope, manage, and conduct workshops or proof‑of‑value engagements to prove the value of the Delphix solution. Convey the business value to the customer in an articulate manner. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or related field. 3‑5 years experience in a technology presales role; preferred experience in software presales. 2‑5 years experience in test data management, building development or test systems, or as a developer, test engineer, or data manager. Experience in data management, database administration, software development or testing. AI fluency – Level 2: Skilled Prompter (Advanced Foundation / Early Proficient). The base pay range is $110,000 – $115,500 USD and the position is eligible for the Sales Engineering Commission Plan.
