Product Design Engineer | Series A | NY

We're partnering with a profitable, fast-growing AI-native technology company that is transforming how businesses manage complex professional workflows. They're looking for a Product Design Engineer to sit at the intersection of product design, engineering and AI, owning ideas from customer discovery and early concepts through prototypes and into production. What you'll be doing Designing intuitive AI and agentic product experiences Running customer discovery and translating insights into product direction Prototyping in Figma and code Contributing directly to the production frontend Improving design systems across Figma and code Using modern AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex Working closely with customers, product and engineering What we're looking for We'll love to speak with people with around 3-7 years of experience across Product Design, Design Engineering or frontend-focused engineering. You'll ideally have: Strong product, UX and visual design judgment The ability to go from idea → prototype → production Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, HTML and CSS Experience in high-ownership startup environments A genuine interest in AI-native products Confidence working directly with customers This could be a great fit for a Product Designer who loves to code, a Design Engineer, or a frontend engineer with exceptional product instincts.
