This role offers a variety of responsibilities throughout the year, including harvesting, packaging, warehousing, shipping, and equipment operation in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support seed production, processing, packaging, and inventory operations.
• Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and work instructions.
• Assist with seasonal activities including:
• Harvest operations
• Seed treatment and conditioning
• Packaging and labeling
• Warehousing and shipping
• Load, unload, stage, and move materials.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment (training provided as needed).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with inventory tracking and data entry.
• Support general facility upkeep, cleaning, and 5S activities.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production goals.

Qualifications Required

• At least 6 months of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or general labor experience.
• Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks during 1012 hour shifts.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation.

Preferred Experience

• Forklift experience.
• Warehouse, shipping, or inventory management experience.
• Agricultural, seed processing, or packaging experience.
• Experience with loading, unloading, and material handling.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Job Type & Location: This is a contract position based out of Durant, IA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
