Assembly

Position Title: Assembly Wage: $19.00 - $21.50/hr Shift: 2nd, 3rd Hours: 03:00 pm - 11:00 pm 11:00 pm - 07:00 am Assembler Responsibilities: Check for correct labels, appearance, components, and products to assure the correct product is in the correct bottle and/or box. Follow and maintain established quality standards, reporting quality defects to the Line Leader to assure poor quality product is not going into the carton Place bottles on line in a specified direction making sure to keep watch for any bottles that fall over or get stuck on the track Dump bottles into bin or hopper and break down boxes if necessary. Place spray nozzles and caps into/onto bottles and twist when necessary Assemble boxes correctly using insert partitions if required Usage of box cutters when needed Assist with palletizing as needed Follow all safety procedures as well as housekeeping guidelines Requirements for Assembler: High school diploma/GED preferred Previous industrial experience Must be 18 years of age Must have some understanding of manufacturing process Must be able to walk, reach, lift, bend, stoop, etc. throughout shift Must be able to stand (all 8 hours of the shift or overtime as required) Must be able to have hand/finger dexterity to lift or handle products Must be able to hear and talk Must be able to lift or force to be exerted up to 10 pounds Must be able to lift or force to be exerted up to 25 pounds Must be able to withstand humid temperatures during summer months Why Work with QPS?
