WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

The Reimbursement Specialist plays a critical role in helping patients receive timely therapy by ensuring claims are handled accurately, efficiently, and with integrity. While this role may not be patient‑facing every day, the impact is deeply human — helping remove barriers so patients can focus on their health, not paperwork. In this role, your work helps:

• Create a smoother, clearer experience for patients navigating insurance
• Support providers and internal teams through reliable reimbursement processes
• Strengthen trust in LUX Infusion as a clinician‑led, patient‑first

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring accurate and timely billing and reimbursement of claims
• Managing claim submissions, corrections, and follow‑ups with payers
• Collaborating closely with pharmacy teams, revenue cycle leadership, and

field staff

• Bringing thoughtfulness, reliability, and follow‑through to daily work
• Identifying and implementing better ways to serve patients, providers, and

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of medical insurance experience
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet navigation)
• Strong customer service focus and professionalism

PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED)

• Home infusion experience
• Experience with CPR+ and/or CareTend
• Certified Pharmacy Technician

SCHEDULE & LOCATION

• Varied 8‑hour schedules across Eastern and Central time zones
• Hybrid role with work performed onsite in Overland Park, KS and remotely
• Work location and schedule may change based on business needs
