$22.00 per hour, with credit given for experience Full-time Day shift, 7:00am-3:30pm. Both Wednesday-Sunday and Monday-Friday available. Location: Wesley Willows | Rockford, IL

What You'll Do:

• Perform basic electrical repairs (GFI, outlets, switches, troubleshooting)
• Complete basic plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, drains, troubleshooting)
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems (filters, thermostats, belts)
• Conduct minor drywall repairs
• Perform basic carpentry work (door fitting and replacement)
• Handle garbage and linen runs as needed
• Carry out all Maintenance Level I functions
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment
• Respond to resident concerns promptly and communicate issues to supervisor
• Assist with special projects and assignments as directed

What You'll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR (required)
• Minimum of three years experience in building maintenance with an emphasis on carpentry, painting, electrical wiring and plumbing (preferred)
• Knowledge of heating and cooling systems
• Must have the ability to anticipate and/or troubleshoot problems
• Must have general knowledge of simple equipment used in the building trades
• Must have the ability to perform the physical demands of the role
