Maintenance Electrical TechnicianHowmet Aerospace has an opening for a Maintenance Electrical Technician 2nd Shift in our Tucson, AZ location. The Maintenance Electrical Technician is responsible for performing electrical work, maintenance and repair of all production and facility equipment in a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include the production of banded parts meeting print and specification requirements, the care and maintenance of the equipment, interface with subcontractors in the repair of production and facility equipment. The assurance of safe and healthful workplace and a commitment to employee involvement, participative management, and continuous improvement.2nd Shift schedule: Monday - Friday; 2:00PM - 10:30PMFamiliar with electrical machine/facility maintenance and repair, including machining, motor controls.Familiar with the function and operation of a variety of manufacturing equipment and processes (i.e. heading, rolling, drilling, heat treat, plating, band annealing, assembly and facility support.)Ability to read equipment, component and wiring drawings and schematics.Familiar with Hydraulics and PneumaticsFamiliar with VFD's, sensors, PLC's, controls, bus duct and bus ducts boxesAbility to install, troubleshoot, and repair 480V, 240V, 120V, 24VDC, & 5VDCFamiliar with driving a forklift and scissor liftFamiliar with MS Office suiteTeam PlayerTakes initiative and follows directionsKnowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involvedQualificationsMinimum of three years' experience in a manufacturing environment performing machine maintenance and repairHigh School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferredAbility to install electrical conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors, and other such equipmentFabrication experienceWelding, HVAC, Plumbing and PLC experience a plusEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
