Key Responsibilities Be a proud ambassador of the Dairy Queen brand, maintaining professionalism in every task Warmly greet and welcome fans to ensure a fun and loving atmosphere Lead dining room and kitchen operations to exceed fan expectations with timely, quality service Develop and execute the restaurant’s business plan alongside the owner to optimize sales and profit Manage inventory, cash controls, and meet Dairy Queen brand standards Hire, train, coach, and develop a highly skilled and enthusiastic management team and crew Create a safe, clean, and inviting environment for both fans and team members Ensure food safety is the top priority and enforce safe food handling practices Implement PRIDE systems and routines to set each shift up for success Resolve fan concerns calmly, embracing Dairy Queen’s service recovery standards Promote local, regional, and national marketing efforts to attract new fans and grow sales Maintain a positive attitude and genuine passion for excellence at all times Qualifications & Requirements 3-5 years of restaurant management experience with profit and loss responsibility; quick service experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent Strong hospitality and customer service skills with a proven coaching track record Knowledge of COGS and labor management, implementing initiatives to reach costs goals ServSafe® certifiable with strong knowledge of safe food handling practices Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional attitude Comfortable standing for entire shifts and lifting up to 50 pounds Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Fun-loving, enthusiastic, and committed to creating smiles and stories for fans Availability for weekends and overtime as needed Perks & Benefits Paid time off and paid training to support your growth Health, dental, and vision insurance for your well-being 401k matching to help secure your future Employee discounts and referral programs to reward your dedication Bonus pay opportunities to recognize your hard work Location: Store #72961 - Milan, TN Dairy Queen® (DQ®) franchisees, employees and crew members have been focused on creating positive memories for all who touch DQ®, for over 75 years.
