We're passionate about our work, we believe there is always a better way, and we're in this for the long haul.Your Opportunity: Taymark, a Taylor Company, is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join the team in our White Bear Lake, MN facility!Your Responsibilities:Performs the physical and/or administrative duties involved in the functions pertaining to the shipping, handling, receiving, storing, counting, packaging and distributing of equipment, materials, merchandise, and similar itemsInspects and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods and enters into the inventory control systemPut away and manage raw and finished goods inventory in the warehousePull product from the warehouse to deliver to the production floorPick, wrap and pack products in boxes, cartons, and other containers prior to final packing for shipment and affixes identifying information to the packagesUse various shipping systems for FedEx, UPS, and USPSAdjust to a fast-paced and quickly changing environmentAssist in monthly inventory cycle countingMay operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goodsPerform other warehouse and shipping duties as neededAssembles orders and prepares goods for shipmentRecords shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availabilityReceives and unpacks materials and suppliesReports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposesCompletes shipping and receiving reports.Your Shift: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - FridayYou Must Have:Basic computer and math skillsAbility to read, write, speak, and comprehend EnglishAbility to work independently, problem-solving as neededRequirements Within This Position:Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)We Would Also Prefer:Knowledge of operations of material handling equipment such as sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and reach trucksPrevious experience in a warehouse or fulfillment settingThe anticipated hourly range for this position is $18.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
