Procurement/Buyer

Akkodis is seeking a Procurement/Buyer for a Contract with a client in Austin TX. The ideal candidate must have strong negotiation skills and experience in BOM creation while coordinating with multiple vendors, optimizing purchasing processes, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

Rate Range: $37/Hour to $38/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Procurement/Buyer Job Responsibilities include:

• Source and procure materials/services by collaborating with vendors and negotiating favorable pricing and terms.
• Manage and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure accuracy and timely availability of components.
• Build and maintain relationships with multiple vendors and third-party suppliers to support business needs.
• Coordinate with global teams to align procurement strategies and ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Track orders, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve any supply or quality issues promptly.
• Support procurement processes with clear communication, documentation, and continuous cost optimization efforts.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or buyer roles.
• Strong negotiation skills with proven experience managing multiple vendors and third-party suppliers.
• Experience in creating and managing BOMs with the ability to coordinate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $38.00 per hour
