Job Title

Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Midshift (1300–0100, 36 Hours/Week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced adult community emergency department with a high admission volume
• Manage IV insertion and PICC/central line care, perform 12-lead EKG acquisition, and provide telemetry interpretation
• Perform and assist with cardioversion, defibrillation, procedural sedation, and advanced airway management including CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and trach care
• Deliver care for primary diagnoses including stroke, STEMI, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac conditions, and orthopedic emergencies
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3–4 while upholding outstanding customer service and team support standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 3–5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion and PICC/central line management
• Competency in 12-lead EKG acquisition and telemetry interpretation
• Experience with cardioversion/defibrillation, procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and trach care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with patients with chemical dependency or behavioral health needs
• Familiarity with high-volume emergency settings managing approximately 25,000 cases annually
