Summary: The Task Force General Manager oversees and coordinates activities of the hotel to achieve optimal efficiency, economic performance, and profitability. The general manager ensures high standards of guest service, promptly addresses guest and associate concerns, and continually seeks ways to improve guest experience. This role oversees all departments to ensure they operate in harmony and productively. Duties and Responsibilities Plan, develop, and implement organization policies and goals during assigned tenure. Coordinate activities of departments to ensure operational efficiency. Direct and promote hotel services to enter new markets, increase market share, and achieve competitive positioning. Analyze budget requests to identify cost‑saving opportunities and allocate operating budget. Consult with administrative personnel and review activity, operating, and sales reports to determine required changes. Prepare directives to the Regional Director of Operations outlining policies, programs, or operational changes to be implemented. Promote the hotel within local associations. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervise employees within the department(s). Indirectly supervise employees within the department(s). Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline; address complaints and resolve problems.
