Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides diagnostic imaging services by operating X-ray and radiology equipment, supporting physicians in accurate patient diagnosis. Ensures the safety and comfort of patients throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently to capture high-quality images.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment usage.
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Ensure equipment calibration, cleanliness, and proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to meet diagnostic needs.

Qualifications:

• Possess active state licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating X-ray and radiology equipment.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Show attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Have previous experience in a clinical radiology setting preferred.
