Obtain thorough patient histories and maintain accurate medical records. Prepare exam rooms, instruments, and equipment for patient care. Safely restrain patients during examinations and procedures. Administer medications, vaccines, and anesthesia as directed. Monitor anesthesia, patient vital signs, and recovery. Collect laboratory samples and perform diagnostic testing. Provide attentive nursing care for recovering patients. Educate clients about medications, treatments, and preventive care. Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and efficient treatment area. Support daily hospital operations and collaborate with teammates to maintain a smooth workflow. What You’ll Bring Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience.
