Clinical Study Nurse Coordinator

Location Omaha, NE Position Summary Responsible for coordination of patient care and treatment during participation in a clinical research trial which includes the complex aspects of health care as it relates to treatment of malignancies. This includes inpatient and outpatient care, and encompasses the entire research continuum from referral of the patient through long‑term follow‑up and care. The coordinator assumes responsibility for critical coordination and management of the complex decisions and regulatory requirements of each research protocol. Responsibilities Coordinate patient care and treatment during clinical research trials, including inpatient and outpatient care. Manage the entire research continuum from patient referral through long‑term follow‑up and care. Ensure compliance with complex decisions and regulatory requirements of each research protocol. Required Qualifications Relevant coursework or specialized training in nursing; nursing major or equivalent training. Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in medical/surgical, oncology, or hematology nursing. Current Nebraska RN license or license eligible. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word; additional applications such as EPIC One CHRT are a plus. Preferred Qualifications Experience in medical/surgical or oncology/hematology nursing and/or clinical research.
