About PPI Benefit Solutions PPI Benefit Solutions, part of NFP, delivers end‑to‑end benefits administration services and technology, focusing on client and partner needs. Role Overview Provide the best possible benefits administration experience for clients and brokers, ensuring high satisfaction and business retention. Work with sales executives to deliver a seamless onboarding experience for new clients. Manage renewals, plan changes, and add‑issue opportunities. Resolve issues by coordinating resources internally and with carriers. Compensation includes a base salary (up to $60,000) plus a performance‑based commission plan with potential total compensation up to $120,000. This is a full‑time hybrid role located in Wallingford, CT, with flexibility for fully remote candidates. Essential Functions Provide new client onboarding support, collaborating with sales executives and implementation resources; conduct platform demonstrations and training on PPI’s eligibility and billing applications. Perform system reviews to QC client setups, bills, and rates, and monitor billing for the first 2–3 months to pre‑empt issues. Evaluate, present, and negotiate benefit plan renewals and marketing proposals for assigned accounts; support sales coordinators in obtaining product options. Identify opportunities to offer additional or alternative products and services and sell add‑issue to brokers and clients. Use business and PPI knowledge to anticipate client needs and implement strategies, including products, benefits administration, COBRA, and other PPI services. Conduct client and broker meetings, sometimes remote and occasionally in‑person; hold occasional employee meetings. Ensure all paperwork and documentation is complete, timely, and submitted for renewals, plan changes, and PPI service offerings. Resolve or direct resolution of escalated client service issues (system usage, enrollment, rates/billing, payment/lapse, claims, benefits questions). Oversee open enrollment and ongoing enrollment processes, including data files, EDI, and employee self‑service; act as liaison when problem resolution is required. Collaborate with other account‑management team members and leadership; provide support and backup; share best practices and conduct internal education sessions. Coordinate across all PPI departments and carriers/vendors to anticipate, respond to, and resolve client and broker needs. Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred. 5+ years of account management or client service experience in group insurance or employee benefits. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities and follow through effectively. Clear written and verbal communication skills, including client presentations. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Life and Health license required or ability to obtain within 3 months. Periodic travel (10–15%) both in and out of state for meetings, conferences, and client needs.
