ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technologist

MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our client's esteemed hospital team located near Hutchins Texas!

Key Responsibilities for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Schedule: Day shift - 7am to 3:30pm.
Review physician orders and patient history to confirm appropriate imaging procedures are conducted.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information within the hospital's electronic systems.
Monitor patients during procedures, providing clear instructions and compassionate assistance as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and comply with regulatory standards.
Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting nuclear medicine equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:

Current Texas licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
Certification in CPR and BLS is necessary.
Texas Medical Board - MRT certification is required.
ARRT Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology is required.
