About the Role:
Skilled Nursing Pharmacy in Hayward, CA is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our PM shift team. Schedule:

• PM Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm)
• Shift Differential Applicable

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare, package, and dispense medications for skilled nursing facility residents during PM shift hours
• Process and verify prescription orders in the pharmacy management system
• Coordinate medication deliveries and communicate with nursing facility staff to ensure timely fulfillment
• Maintain accurate patient medication profiles and ensure proper documentation
• Perform inventory management, including restocking and controlled substance tracking
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and facility protocols
• Support pharmacist with drug utilization reviews and medication reconciliation tasks

Requirements:

• Active California Pharmacy Technician license (or registration) required
• National certification (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA preferred
• Prior experience in a long-term care, institutional, or retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Familiarity with pharmacy management software and dispensing systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a high-volume environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with nursing and clinical staff
• Availability to work PM shift hours, including possible weekends or holidays
