About the Role:
Skilled Nursing Pharmacy in Hayward, CA is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our overnight graveyard shift team. Schedule:

• Overnight Shift (8:30pm - 5:00am)
• Shift Differential Applicable

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medication orders for skilled nursing facility (SNF) patients during overnight hours
• Process and verify prescription orders in the pharmacy management system
• Prepare unit-dose and blister-pack medications in compliance with long-term care standards
• Coordinate urgent and STAT medication requests for nursing facilities
• Maintain proper medication storage, inventory control, and controlled substance logs
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and pharmacists to resolve order discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and facility protocols

Requirements:

• Active California Pharmacy Technician license (CPhT) required
• Prior experience in a long-term care, institutional, or retail pharmacy preferred
• Familiarity with pharmacy management software and medication dispensing systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume environment
• Ability to work independently and remain focused during overnight/graveyard shift hours
• Knowledge of controlled substance handling and regulatory compliance
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a team-oriented setting
