The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.What You'll Do as a Personal Auto Property Damage (PD) Claims Adjuster:Manage a dedicated inventory of personal auto property damage claimsInvestigate coverage, liability, and damagesReview police reports, witness statements, photographs, and repair estimatesEvaluate damages and establish appropriate reservesNegotiate settlements with claimants, repair facilities, and vendorsIdentify subrogation opportunitiesEscalate SIU concerns when appropriateMaintain accurate claim documentation and diary managementComply with California claims handling regulations and company proceduresQualificationsWhat do we look for in our Personal Auto Property Damage (PD) Claims Adjuster?1+ years of personal auto claims experience preferredProperty Damage claims experience preferredUnderstanding of California auto liability fundamentalsStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage claim inventory independentlyExperience with claims management systems and Microsoft OfficeBilingual Spanish is a plusWork ArrangementThis is a primarily in-office position located in Los Angeles. Following successful completion of training and demonstrated performance, employees may be eligible for up to one work-from-home day per week, subject to business needs and manager approval.
