The individual will work closely with both the design engineering community and all operational resources to enable continuous manufacturing. Additional program support is also required to enable new business opportunities. Essential Functions:Responsible for architecting, designing, developing, modifying, evaluating and integrating electronic equipment, electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for complex, high performance digital hardware systems.Ability to prioritize tasks and issues based on technical challenge and revenue impact.Diverse product development knowledge from component selection through change orders and factory implementation.Analyzes electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Hands-on experience with test equipments including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators etc. to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluate results. Includes the application of specialized skill sets including digital, analog, FPGA, DSP, CCA, power, antenna, and control systems knowledge as required. Provide timely and thorough response to issues that impact continuous production and generation of revenue in the JROC focus factories with staffing and problem-solving expertise.Ability to obtain a US Security ClearanceQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in Digital Electrical Engineering.Preferred Additional Skills:Exposure to electronic circuit elements such as: ASICs, PLLs, DACs, Amplifiers and Power Supplies desirableExperience designing state of the art Analog & Digital electronic circuitsProven and effective communications skills and interpersonal skills Experience with Analog & Digital design, tuning, analysis and optimizationAbility to utilize signal processing algorithms in FPGAs and softwareExperience with part selection and interfacing with manufacturersAble to test and support initial bring-up of prototype hardwareExperience with detailed circuit level design verification testing, power savings analysis and optimizationPerform electronic circuit design including schematic capture and layout knowledgeBachelors Degree in Digital Electrical Engineering preferred In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $92,500- $171,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
