Our practice is owned by licensed physical therapists and is committed to serving patients primarily with private medical insurance. With a cutting-edge 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and resources, we offer a supportive and collaborative environment for both our team and our patients. Work Environment This position is onsite at our outpatient office in San Francisco, providing a dynamic and patient-focused atmosphere. You will be joining a motivated team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) who prioritize exceptional patient care. The regular work schedule allows for a well-balanced work-life setup, operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of patients to identify their unique goals and requirements, ensuring a personalized approach to treatment. Manage a patient caseload, typically one individual every hour, maintaining a strong relationship and providing ongoing support throughout their rehabilitation journey. Design and implement cost-effective treatment regimens that emphasize improving patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall functionality without unnecessary reliance on medications or surgical interventions. Create cohesive care plans using a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques, including manual therapy and exercise protocols that are tailored to the individual's needs. Motivate and educate patients on lifestyle changes that enhance their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Document all patient interactions, treatments provided, and progress made using advanced EMR software, specifically WebPT, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary patient care, adjusting treatment plans based on teamwork and patient feedback. Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, proactively addressing any barriers to patient recovery to optimize health results. Patient Population / Client Focus Our facility serves a broad range of patients who experience musculoskeletal concerns, recover from orthopedic surgery, or seek rehabilitation following sports injuries. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required. A current and valid license as a Physical Therapist in California. A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license. Strong skills in manual therapy techniques, ensuring high standards of patient care. Demonstrated competency in developing and applying effective exercise protocols for diverse patient needs. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management. Preferred Experience Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is essential, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role being highly desirable. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of evidence-based practice and have a track record of successful patient outcomes through their treatment approaches. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
