Permanent, Full-Time (1EFT/80 hrs + ADO - negotiable) Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4 - Salary range: $121,274.40 - $130,603.20 Great Staff benefits Located in St Kilda Road Clinic About The Role Our Adult and Older Adult Department combines the strengths of AMAH Adult Community Mental Health and Caulfield Aged and Liaison Psychiatry Services. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, person-centred support to adults and older adults through an expansive range of therapeutic, addiction, trauma-informed, and family violence services. We are expanding our offerings to ensure clients benefit from specialist expertise and innovative, broad-spectrum care options, including specialised pathways for substance use disorders, rehabilitation, recovery, physical and mental health integration, and trauma-focused services. Our department focuses on integrated treatment, education, peer support, care planning and navigation services designed to support individuals through every stage of their recovery journey. About You A current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board via AHPRA preferably with Psychiatric endorsements or equivalent. Postgraduate qualifications in psychiatric nursing are strongly preferred. Experience in a range of psychiatric interventions indicating an ability to perform community-based psychiatric assessment including that of risk assessment. Experience providing assessment and treatment of mental health disorders and alcohol and other drug disorders to clients and their families. A current driver’s licence is required to undertake this role. Australian working rights, satisfactory completion of Working with Children Check and current Influenza vaccination. In accordance with the Health Services Amendment (Mandatory Vaccination of Healthcare Workers) Act 2020, health care workers in Category A or B roles are required to be vaccinated against influenza or hold an acceptable medical exemption.
