Job Title: Mechanical Technician Job Description

The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the efficient operation of snowplows and trailers. The role involves customizing customers' vehicles, trailers, and equipment by installing flatbeds, utility bodies, fire bodies, and switch-and-go bodies.

• Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics on snowplows and trailers to identify and address mechanical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil/fluid changes, brake adjustments, and hydraulic system checks.
• Repair and replace damaged or faulty components to ensure optimal functionality of plows and trailers.
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems to ensure proper operation.

• Mechanical skills
• Proficiency with hand tools
• Experience in repair and installation
• Ability to troubleshoot construction and blueprint-related issues
• Knowledge of pneumatics and service procedures

• 1 year+ of working in a body shop with fabrication and mechanical knowledge
• Experience with snowplow and trailer systems, including hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical components

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bozeman, MT.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Bozeman,MT.
