Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a pivotal role supporting K-8 learners by providing exceptional special education services in a dynamic, collaborative school environment near Mesa, AZ. This full-time contract opportunity begins with an in-service day on July 20th, followed by the arrival of students on July 30th, and concludes on May 21, 2027. The campus is actively seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers to help manage a substantial and growing caseload, ensuring each student receives the support and individualized attention they need.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility) in Arizona
• Previous experience in a K-8 setting is highly valued
• Confidence in developing and implementing IEPs for diverse age groups
• Strong understanding of service minutes and workload distribution
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational atmosphere

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to individual learning needs in accordance with IEPs
• Work closely with a second SPED teacher to strategically divide caseload and age groups
• Collaborate with general education staff and support teams to promote student success
• Maintain accurate documentation of service minutes, progress notes, and compliance-related paperwork
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
