Paramedic

Location Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093 Work Hours PRN/As needed: Evening shift – 11:00 am to 11:00 pm with rotating holiday and weekend requirements. Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team. Required Qualifications H.S. Diploma or equivalent. 3 months of paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship. 1 year of paramedic experience in EMS or fire department. LP – Licensed Paramedic upon hire. ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days. BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly. PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days. CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training; maintained annually within 90 days. Preferred Qualifications EMT‑P – Emergency Medical Technician‑Paramedic. Organizational and interpersonal skills to function in a fast‑paced environment. Good verbal and written communication skills; basic computer skills. Responsibilities Perform technical skills adapted to the population‑specific and developmental needs of patients. Provide safe patient care under delegation of appropriate physician and competency sign‑off. All clinical activities are delegated and conducted under direct physician supervision.
