Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with advanced expertise in Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure. This role involves designing, automating, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and driving DevSecOps practices across environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scripting, containerization, and cloud governance. Responsibilities Design and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform, following modular and reusable IaC patterns. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Provision, secure, scale, and monitor infrastructure across development, test, and production environments. Implement Azure policies, RBAC, and governance frameworks. Manage Azure networking components including VNets, Subnets, NSGs, and Load Balancers. Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Containerize applications using Docker and deploy via Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Integrate monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and App Insights. Drive cost optimization, performance tuning, and DevSecOps best practices. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring). 8+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform (modules, workspaces, state management, version control). Proficiency in CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins. Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Experience with Docker, AKS, and Helm. Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible. Knowledge of Azure AD, Key Vault, Managed Identity, and RBAC. Experience with monitoring and logging tools: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus/Grafana (optional). Preferred Qualifications Certifications: AZ-400, AZ-104, or Terraform Associate. Experience with multi-environment pipelines and GitOps workflows. Understanding of cost governance and FinOps principles.
