Engineering Fall Internship/Co-op

Job Overview Chemours is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our Advanced Performance Materials team. This position will report directly to the Co‑op/Intern Manager and will work closely with the team gaining valuable experience through hands‑on projects in a chemical plant. Location and Schedule Location: Deepwater, NJ. Hours: Regular full‑time schedule of 40 hours per week. Preferred Term: May – August 2026. Candidates must commit to at least a total of three (3) months as an intern. Responsibilities Analyzing equipment performance and recommending improvement plans. Conducting failure analysis investigations. Monitoring process trends and detecting poor reactions. Implementing process improvement projects. Participating in process safety management activities. Contributing to team meetings and conference calls. Facilitating Management of Change and other Process Safety documentation. Required Qualifications Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Sophomore or above at time of assignment. Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, or similar fields. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications 3.0 GPA or above. Participation in relevant activities, organizations, and projects beyond the classroom.
