ObGyn physician job in New York :

A New York City-based health services system is seeking a licensed OB/GYN for a great opportunity at one of their outpatient medical practices in Upper Manhattan.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business
• Setting: Outpatient clinic

Responsibilities:

• Provide preventive care and routine gynecology services for women.
• Diagnose and treat common gynecologic conditions.
• Perform in-office procedures as needed, including colposcopy, IUD placement, LEEP, and hysteroscopy.
• Review patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and document findings accurately.
• Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and collaborate with the clinical team to support quality care.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of post-graduate medical training in Obstetrics and Gynecology from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted New York State medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility for registration.
• Active Medicare and Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to enroll.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Comfort with electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office.

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
