Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapy license in New York
• Experience working as a Physical Therapist in schools or with pediatric populations
• Understanding of IEPs, evaluations, and therapeutic interventions tailored for K-12 students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to adapt strategies for diverse student needs and learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students across all grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP recommendations and student goals
• Assess and document student progress, updating plans and communicating outcomes with teachers and families
• Collaborate with school staff to create supportive environments and classroom modifications that promote student success
• Participate in eligibility meetings, annual reviews, and team consultations as needed
