Desired Skills & Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in New York State.
• Previous experience—or genuine interest—in working in school-based or pediatric settings.
• Expertise supporting diverse student populations from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families.
• Adaptable and resourceful, with a passion for fostering student growth and independence.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs for K-12 students.
• Collaborate with educators and IEP teams to design interventions that facilitate access to the curriculum.
• Document progress, maintain detailed records, and prepare reports as required.
• Provide training or guidance for staff and families in supporting students’ physical development.
• Engage actively in school activities and maintain a positive, encouraging presence within the school community.
