Job Duties

• Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction on therapy strategies that empower patients and their families to maintain progress at home
• Track Progress and Outcomes: Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results

Education Required

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized accredited program
• Ongoing education and advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in New York
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
