Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 6 months to 1 year in a psychiatric/behavioral health setting. License: Must have a permanent nursing license in hand prior to submission. Certifications: BCLS required. Must-Have: Candidates should possess solid clinical judgment, assessment, delegation, and leadership qualities. Candidates must be willing to float to various inpatient units, including children, adolescents, and adult age groups. Description: Float pool nurses are experienced nurses who will work on multiple inpatient units. Candidates are required to demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to manage various patient populations. Previous charge nurse experience is preferred. The nursing staff will be expected to adhere to facility policies and procedures. Nurses may be required to work as charge RNs during shifts without additional compensation for those hours. Successful candidates will pass a drug screen with no exceptions. Fingerprinting must be conducted in state prior to the start date. Floating is an essential part of this role, as nurses will be expected to adapt to various units and patient ages as scheduling demands. A strong commitment to patient care and safety is essential in this position.
