Required Skills:

• Valid and current Louisiana Physical Therapy license (PT) or PTA license for those with PTA credentials
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a specialized setting such as inpatient rehab, acute care, outpatient, or skilled nursing
• Ability to independently manage a caseload across various patient diagnoses, including spinal cord injuries, TBI, strokes, amputees, post-surgical orthopedic and neuro patients, among others
• Strong teamwork skills and experience working within multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as EPIC, Meditech Expanse, WellSky, and AOD

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional certifications like BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Experience with pediatric or sports medicine patients
• Knowledge of departmental-specific equipment and advanced therapy techniques

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• 1+ years of relevant clinical experience in a specialized healthcare setting, demonstrating independence and clinical competence

Other Requirements:

• Current driver's license and willingness to comply with facility reimbursement policies for licensure, certification, travel, and other expenses
• Commitment to attending orientation sessions, including general hospital and departmental training (2-3 days)
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with minimal or no weekend or holiday coverage
• Professional attire required; pewter scrubs for inpatient, or department-appropriate dress for outpatient settings
• Free parking available on-site
