Hiring Support Specialist

Lutheran Social Services seeks a detail-oriented Hiring Support Specialist to assist our ICA Team in delivering high-quality services across behavioral health, housing, and family programs. In this role, you will manage applicant and staff onboarding workflows, coordinate interviews and orientations, maintain accurate records, and support timely communication with candidates, hiring managers, and HR. You'll work closely with mission-driven teams in a compassionate, faith-based environment where collaboration, inclusivity, and social justice guide daily work and offer meaningful professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Support ICA team hiring processes, including posting roles, screening applications, and coordinating interviews
• Organize and track applicant and new hire documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Schedule interviews, orientations, and training with candidates, hiring managers, and HRMaintain databases and electronic records, producing basic reports as needed
• Assist with onboarding logistics, such as checklists, access requests, and communication
• Respond to candidate and staff inquiries with timely, professional customer service
• Uphold confidentiality, HIPAA, and organizational policies in all documentation
• Collaborate with ICA and HR staff to improve workflows and candidate experience
