Role Description The Ecommerce Business Owner at Barraid will oversee the end-to-end operations of the online store in a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun. Responsibilities include managing product listings, pricing, inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure a well-curated and reliable catalog of bar accessories. The role involves monitoring website performance, optimizing product pages, and coordinating with designers or freelancers for visuals and content. The Ecommerce Business Owner will track sales, margins, and key performance metrics, and will plan promotions, discounts, and campaigns to drive revenue growth. Daily tasks also include handling customer inquiries and escalations, ensuring timely order fulfillment, coordinating with logistics partners, and maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Qualifications Experience in e-commerce operations, including product listing management, order processing, and inventory control. Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data, margins, and ROI, and make data-informed decisions. Knowledge of online merchandising, basic SEO for product pages, and familiarity with e-commerce platforms and tools. Customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer queries, resolve issues, and maintain a positive brand image. Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts such as online advertising, social media marketing, and email campaigns. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage. Previous experience in retail, hospitality, barware, or a related consumer goods category is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
