Service Coordinator Columbus, OH | Full-Time In-Office Position JSET Automated Technologies is seeking a highly organized Service Coordinator to support our growing service operations team. This role serves as the central point of coordination between customers, field technicians, and internal teams, ensuring service requests are managed efficiently from intake through completion. The Service Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining exceptional customer service, coordinating service activities, tracking service requests, managing documentation, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the service department. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in keeping people, processes, and information organized. Candidates with experience in service coordination, customer support, field service administration, project coordination, construction administration, office operations, or service management support are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Manage incoming service requests and create service tickets with complete and accurate information Coordinate technician schedules based on customer needs, project priorities, and resource availability Serve as a primary point of contact for customer communications, scheduling updates, and service status requests Monitor open service tickets and ensure timely follow-up, updates, and completion Maintain accurate documentation, service records, labor tracking, and service notes Coordinate communication between customers, field technicians, and internal stakeholders Support preventative maintenance scheduling and recurring service activities Assist with service reporting, tracking logs, and operational documentation Identify and elevate scheduling conflicts, service delays, or customer concerns Support continuous improvement of service processes and workflow efficiency Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 1+ year of experience in service coordination, administrative support, customer service, office operations, or a related role Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting service, maintenance, operations, or field-based teams Experience in construction, electrical, controls, automation, facilities maintenance, HVAC, or technical service environments Familiarity with Procore or similar project, service, or work-order management software Previous experience coordinating technician schedules, service requests, or customer support activities What Makes You Successful You enjoy organizing schedules, information, and workflows You communicate professionally and confidently with customers and team members You can juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy You are proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented You thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same You take ownership of tasks and consistently follow through to completion Why Join JSET?
