About the Role

We’re looking for a strong writer and proactive communicator to help grow awareness, credibility, and visibility across three brands: AAE Intelligence, Speaker Search, and All American Speakers.

Working with our Head of Marketing, you’ll turn research, industry expertise, and company stories into useful content and help that content reach the right audiences through media outreach, partnerships, and our own social and email channels. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both creating compelling work and getting it noticed.

What You’ll Do

• AAE Intelligence: Work with our research and data team to turn original findings into accessible reports, articles, and commentary. Pitch journalists and industry publications to earn coverage, citations, and links.
• Speaker Search: Create and promote buying guides, educational articles, and other content that helps event planners find speakers. Support search visibility through useful content, relevant media coverage, and outreach.
• All American Speakers: Tell the agency’s story through client testimonials, success stories, workplace awards, and company news. Identify PR opportunities that showcase our expertise, service, and culture.
• Maintain a coordinated editorial and outreach calendar across the three brands, with priorities set alongside the Head of Marketing.
• Help executives and internal experts share their perspectives through thought leadership, contributed articles, and social content.
• Distribute and repurpose content across websites, email, and social channels, and track performance through relevant coverage, links, engagement, and traffic.

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in research communications, PR, content marketing, journalism, or a related field.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with a portfolio showing your ability to make complex subjects clear and engaging.
• Experience pitching stories or promoting content, with evidence that you can get work in front of relevant audiences.
• Comfort working with data and subject-matter experts to develop accurate, credible stories.
• A basic understanding of SEO (can collaborate with our SEO & PPC Specialist)
• Strong organization, curiosity, and follow-through, including the ability to manage several projects and collaborate across teams.

Experience with executive ghostwriting, customer stories, or the events and professional speaking industry is a plus.

Role Details

• Full-time, based in Durham, NC.
• Hybrid schedule: three days in office and two remote.
