CPA Senior Tax Accountant

To support a growing tax function, the full-time remote CPA Senior Tax Accountant will assist with the preparation of tax provisions, compliance, and other tax matters while utilizing technology to improve processes. Key responsibilities Prepare quarterly and annual US federal and state income tax provisions and audited financial statements Gather information and prepare workpapers for US income tax returns managed by external advisors Conduct research on tax issues and communicate with federal or state tax authorities to resolve tax matters Required qualifications 2-5+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or in-house corporate tax teams Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required CPA or equivalent license is required Understanding of ASC 740 and income tax accounting concepts Proficient in Microsoft Excel with an interest in process improvement and automation
