North Carolina Licensed Senior Tax Associate

To support a growing virtual CPA firm, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Senior Tax Associate will conduct reviews of Individual, Partnership, and S-Corporation tax returns, provide technical input on tax issues, and mentor less-experienced staff while working remotely. Key responsibilities Conduct first-level technical reviews of tax returns and supporting documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy Consult with clients via email or phone, ensuring timely and responsive communication Prepare complex tax returns involving 1031 transactions or Form 3115 Required qualifications Bachelor's or Master's in accounting from an accredited college or university Minimum of 3 years preparing and reviewing 1040s, 1065s, and 1120-S tax returns Experience with real estate tax matters and multi-state tax returns CPA or EA certification preferred
